Dual headlamps were a new feature on most 1958 cars, and the Continental had an interesting way of showcasing them. The controversial treatment was toned down on the 1959 Continentals as the headlamp pods became integrated with the grille. The front bumper and parking lamps are my personal favorites on the '58's. Again, the '59's were much less flamboyant.
