| The Breezeway reverse-canted rear window was introduced in 1957 on the Mercury Turnpike Cruiser. Continental designers realized the advantages of this design and bestowed it on the '58 Continental. A slightly different version of the retractable rear window concept was previously seen on the 1956 Packard Predictor concept car. |
