With just 57,000 miles on the odometer, this 430 cu.in. engine is smooth, powerful, and reliable. Other than regular oil changes, I have only performed minor service work on it. The silky Turbodrive automatic transmission was rebuilt after I acquired the car. Twenty years of being parked had ruined the transmission seals. Notice the air conditioning hoses on the tops of the inner fenders. To accomodate the massive passenger compartment, the '58 Mark III uses dual a/c evaporators and heater cores.
