The jack instruction sticker on he inside of the trunk lid isn't yellowed or worn.Most 1950's cars used bumper jacks like this which are guaranteed to warp bumpers when they are used even once. Even though the chromed steel used for the bumpers is a very heavy gauge, the weight of the car is transferred directly to the spot where the jack contacts the bumper. Fortunately, the jack was never used on either bumper of this Olds. |
