Buick was so proud of their flashy new grille that they named it the "Fashion-Aire Dynastar Grille." It contains 160 faceted diecast chrome squares. Cleaning them can be a chore and they are usually pitted and nearly impossible to restore correctly. Fortunately, I found an original new-old-stock grille. The grille is composed of two halves which I acquired separately over a period of several years. All chrome and stainless trim on this Limited is either excellent original, new-old-stock, or rechromed to high standards. The stainless steel "eyebrow" hoods above the headlamps are cracked on most 1958 Buicks where two sections are welded together. These eyebrows were properly repaired by a craftsman and polished to perfection.
