1958 Buick Limited Riviera coupe
The Buick crest graces the accessory tissue dispenser which is attached to the under side of the dashboard. It pivots outward for tissue removal (see next photo). The plush carpeting has foil and glass fibre insulation as well as unusually thick foam padding. The original carpet in this Limited is in outstanding condition, one of the many details of this car that exemplifies the benefits of a low mileage pampered original car. Buick called their rubber floormats "Carpet Savers." The white circle appears overexposed in this photo, but it's the same "V" emblem in concentric rings as seen on the front fender ornaments. Few remaining 1958 Buicks have Carpet Savers, so this set is exceptionally rare.
