| As more ABC affiliates came to the conclusion that color broadcasting was the future, they invested in color transmission equipment. So the network finally added voice to their color presentation animation in 1963. The network gradually added color programming to their schedule, and it was time to let viewers know what those animated circles before some of their programs were all about. ABC was beginning to get serious about color!
